Our Story

TrueCuts began with a simple belief: food should mean more than a price tag. Families have grown distant from the farms that feed them, and small producers continue to be pushed aside by industrial systems.

Three friends—two veterans and two former firefighters—set out to rebuild that connection. We wanted customers to walk away not just with local, quality meat, but with real understanding: how it was raised, how to cook it, and how their choice supports a resilient local food system.

TrueCuts exists to bridge the distance between farm and family table, giving you the tools to know your food’s journey and the confidence that every purchase strengthens the small farms raising it.

How We Partner with Farmers & Ranchers

We do things differently. Instead of buying livestock at the end of the process, we partner from the beginning.

Farmers know exactly who they’re raising for and what support they’ll have, giving them stability without industrial pressure or one-size-fits-all requirements. They’re free to focus on humane care, honest practices, and natural growth.

For you, that means traceable sourcing, a resilient supply chain, and meat that reflects real work, real land, and real stewardship.

Stewardship: The Heart of TrueCuts’ Mission

Stewardship is our operating principle.

As former servicemen and first responders, we built TrueCuts on responsibility: to land, to animals, to the people who feed our communities, and providing good food to families.

That means investing in farmers as partners, not suppliers, and giving them room to raise livestock the right way—not the rushed way.

For our customers, stewardship shows up as trust: meat raised with intention, land cared for with respect, and a food system built for longevity instead of shortcuts.
